History
TeleComputing has since 1997 been a leading provider of centralized IT operation services and net-based software distribution. At the end of 2009, TeleComputing Group had 694 employees in 7 locations in 3 countries and approximately 800 business customers in the Nordic region. The company was listed on Oslo Børs 31.12.2009. Due to changed ownership structure, the company was de-listed in February 2010.
Overview 1997-2008
1997
Established in Norway in 1997 as the first Application Service Provider (ASP) with own IT-operation centre in Norway.
1998
Established in Sweden with own subsidiary and IT-operation centre.
1999
Established in USA with own subsidiary and IT-operation centre.
2000
Listed on Oslo Børs. Acquisition of ID Comnet‘s IT operation in Norway.
2001
MNOK 100 turnover on a yearly basis in Norway. Spin-off of US operation (Apptix).
2002
Acquisition of Kebne AB gave critical mass in Sweden.
2003
Increased focus towards a more customized IT service offering to customers.
2004
Acquisition of Infostream in Norway and Proserva in Sweden.
2005
Acquisition of IT Broker in Stavanger and STIM Computing in Oslo.
2006
Acquisition of Netthuset in Stavanger and sale of Infostream. Implementation of a coordinated Nordic IT delivery organisation. Sabaro mandatory bid, increased holding from 39.9 % to 70.7 %.
2007
Acquisition of the IT consultancy company Kentor with 235 employees in Sweden and Russia. A widening of the product-and service offering. Acquisition of StoneBrix with 24 employees in Gothenburg
2008
Consultancy company, Kentor Norway, is established in Norway. TeleComputing signs new record agreement in Norway worth 52 MNOK. Telecomputing wins tax deductions case against the tax authorities in Asker and Bærum County Court.

TeleComputing Sweden signs record agreement with Svevia AB worth 100 MSEK.

TeleComputing wins tax deduction appeal case.

January and February
Seco Invest AS completes voluntary offer for all outstanding shares of TeleComputing
The shares in Telecomputing are delisted from listing on Oslo Børs. Last day of listing was February 5th 2010.
TeleComputing changes its organizational structure from TeleComputing ASA to TeleComputing AS.
